A quarter share of beef is anywhere from 50-80kg of beef, which is a great way to fill your freezer with delicious, nutritious meat without paying huge retail prices.
Our cattle are aged 3-5 years at slaughter and have only been raised on grass and pasture forage. No grain is supplemented. No vaccines, no boaver, no antibiotics, no hormones.
All the meat comes from one beast meaning your mince and sausages are single origin and premium quality. There is some choice with cuts but generally it includes, primary steaks (fillet, scotch, rump, t-bone, sirloin) and secondary steaks (chuck, blade, osso bucco etc), diced or strips, roasts, brisket, mince including ancestral mince (with liver and heart added), thick or thin preservative free sausages.
Meat and offal are $23/kg cryovaced to maintain freshness.
Soup/marrow bones are $10/kg in bags as they can pierce the cryovac easily.
Dog bones are extra at $6/kg in bag or boxes.
We require a deposit for 30kg which works out to be $690. The remainder is to be paid on pick up or delivery when the final weight is known.
How does it work?
Once we have 4 confirmed buyers we will book the steer into the abattoir and butcher. Once done, we will divide and box it, and deliver it to you in our refrigerated truck. The remaining payment is due upon delivery or farm pick up.
We will show the next dates for available butchering so you get an idea of a timeline. It takes about 2 weeks from slaughter to delivery.
